Iron Coast Equipment Booking Terms & Conditions

By booking equipment from Iron Coast Equipment, you (“Renter”) agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your booking.

1. Payment & Deposits

• A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due upon delivery.
• Cancellations made 3 or more days before the rental start date are eligible for a full refund of the deposit.
• Cancellations made less than 3 days before the rental start date may result in forfeiture of the deposit.

2. Equipment Use & Responsibility

• The Renter agrees to use the equipment only for its intended purpose and in accordance with all laws, regulations, and safety guidelines.
• The Renter is responsible for ensuring that all operators are properly trained and qualified to use the equipment.
• The Renter must not modify, alter, or disassemble the equipment in any way.

3. Damage, Loss, & Theft

• The Renter assumes full responsibility for any damage, loss, or theft of the rented equipment during the rental period.
• If the equipment is damaged beyond normal wear & tear, the Renter is responsible for repair costs or full replacement value.
• If the equipment is lost or stolen, the Renter agrees to pay the full replacement cost.
• A damage waiver is included to cover minor wear & tear, but does not cover negligence, misuse, or loss.

4. Liability & Indemnification

• The Renter acknowledges that operating equipment can be dangerous and assumes all risks associated with its use.
• Iron Coast Equipment is not responsible for:
  • Injuries, death, or accidents resulting from the use of rented equipment.
  • Property damage caused by the equipment or its operation.
  • Legal violations resulting from improper or unauthorized use of the equipment.
• The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Iron Coast Equipment, its owners, and employees from any claims, lawsuits, or damages arising from the use of the rented equipment.

5. Rental Period & Late Returns

• Equipment must be returned on or before the agreed return date.
• Late returns may be subject to additional charges per day.
• If the Renter fails to return the equipment within 7 days of the due date, it will be considered stolen, and legal action may be taken.

6. Delivery & Pick-Up

• Free delivery is provided within North County San Diego.
• The Renter must be present at the time of delivery to inspect the equipment and sign off on its condition.
• Upon return, the equipment must be clean and in working condition, or additional fees may apply.

7. Prohibited Uses

The Renter agrees not to use the equipment for:

• Any illegal activities.
• Any hazardous, high-risk, or reckless operations.
• Any activities that violate local, state, or federal laws.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• These terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of California.
• Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in San Diego County, California.

9. Agreement to Terms

By proceeding with the booking, the Renter acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions. Failure to comply may result in financial liability, legal consequences, or termination of the rental agreement.
