Before you start

  • Inspect the machine for leaks, damage, and loose parts. Check the bucket is secured.
  • Clear people and obstacles from your practice area. Begin on firm, level ground.
  • Sit down, fasten the seat belt, and keep controls neutral. Start with armrests raised, following the handoff walkthrough.

Two joysticks, two jobs

Directions below are from your seat, facing forward. Use small, deliberate movements.

Dump bucket

Practice with an empty bucket, carry it low, and keep people away. Tracks do not make an uncertain slope safe. Ask us before working on unfamiliar terrain.

When you pause or finish

Park on firm, level ground. Lower the bucket fully, engage the parking brake, idle down, stop the engine, and remove the key. Raise the armrests before exiting.

Quick answers

It starts, but the controls do not respond.

Stay seated with your belt fastened. Lower the armrests and use the hydraulic unlock switch as demonstrated. If it still does not respond, call us. Never bypass an interlock.

Which fuel does it take?

Ultra-low-sulfur diesel, not gasoline. Return the tank full, or we charge the fuel used at market rate plus the $20 refueling fee.

Can I use this guide for the brush cutter or breaker?

What if a warning light or unfamiliar alarm appears?
