A real Bobcat, not a stand-in
If someone told you to rent a Bobcat, this is the machine they meant. The T66 is Bobcat's 74 HP vertical-lift track loader: 2,450 lbs rated capacity, a 7,000 lbs tipping load, and power Bob-Tach, so it takes standard skid steer attachments. Ours is a 2025 with the enclosed cab, heat and A/C, two-speed travel, high flow hydraulics, an air ride seat and keyless start.
It rides on rubber tracks at 5.6 psi, less than a person walking, so it holds slopes and loose decomposed granite and leaves lawns in one piece. At 67 inches wide it fits through most double gates.
Bobcat with a brush cutter
The most common reason people rent a Bobcat here is brush. Put our 72-inch Rut Terminator brush cutter on the T66 and it clears chaparral, thick grass and trees up to 4 inches, for fire breaks, defensible space and overgrown lots. The pair is $595 a day, delivered.

Questions about renting a Bobcat
How much is it to rent a Bobcat?
Our Bobcat T66 is $395 for one 24-hour rental day, $1,896 for seven days, or $4,384.50 for 28 days, with one bucket included. Delivery and pickup are free within 30 minutes' drive of our Escondido yard, which covers most of North County San Diego. Beyond that it is $150 up to 45 minutes and $250 up to 60. Further out we do not deliver, but you are welcome to collect from the yard. The optional Damage Waiver adds 12% of the rental.
Can I rent a Bobcat with a brush cutter (brush hog)?
Yes. Add our 72-inch Rut Terminator brush cutter for $200 a day; together with the T66 that is $595 a day, delivered. It cuts brush and trees up to 4 inches and goes on in place of the bucket.
Is a Bobcat T66 a skid steer?
It is the tracked kind. People say skid steer or Bobcat for any loader this shape; technically the T66 is a compact track loader, which rides on rubber tracks instead of wheels, so it grips slopes and loose dirt and leaves lawns in better shape.
Will it fit through my gate?
The T66 is 67 inches wide, so it fits through most double gates. Measure the narrowest point on the way to the work area, and text us a photo if you are unsure.
Do I need experience to run it?
No. We walk you through the controls when we drop it off, and most first-time renters are working within half an hour. The cab has heat and A/C, joystick controls and an air ride seat.
