For a one-day homeowner rental, a $400 to $600 delivery fee can more than double the cost of the job. That is the whole reason we do it differently.

Free delivery FAQs
Is delivery really free, with no catch?
Yes. Delivery and pickup are included in the rental price anywhere in our standard North County service area, which covers about a 30 minute radius from Hidden Meadows: Escondido, San Marcos, Vista, San Marcos, Poway, Rancho Bernardo, Valley Center, Fallbrook, Bonsall, Ramona, and the surrounding communities. No mileage charge, no fuel surcharge, no minimum rental. For addresses well outside that radius we will quote a small delivery fee up front, never a surprise.
Why do the big rental chains charge $400 to $600 for delivery?
Towing a 9,000 lb skid steer legally requires a truck and trailer combination over 26,000 lbs, which means a Class A commercial driver's license. Most rental branches don't keep a CDL driver on staff, so they outsource the haul to a third party and mark it up. We own our truck and our driver holds a Class A CDL, so we deliver ourselves at no cost to you.
Don't the equipment dealers deliver too?
The Kubota and Cat dealers in Escondido are excellent at sales and service, but most are a yard model: you arrange your own transport or pay for theirs. If you don't own a truck and a heavy-duty trailer with electric brakes, getting a skid steer home is its own problem. We solve that by bringing it to you and taking it back.
How fast can you deliver?
Often same day or next day. Text us at 760-454-7943 and we will tell you what's available. Because we are local to North County and run our own truck, we are usually faster than a chain that has to schedule a third-party hauler.
