Brush Cutter Rental, North County San Diego
72-inch commercial brush cutter delivered with a Kubota track loader. Cuts chaparral, manzanita, and trees up to 4 inches. The fastest way to clear defensible space or reclaim overgrown land.

The Fastest Tool for Fire Clearance and Brush Removal
Three AR400 steel blades spin at high speed and mulch everything in the 72-inch cutting path. Chaparral, manzanita, scrub oak, thick grass, it handles all of it without stopping to clear debris. Cut material gets mulched and falls where it stands.
The brush cutter connects to the Kubota SVL75-2 via hydraulic quick-attach. We walk you through the controls on delivery. Most renters are fully productive within 30 minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I rent just the brush cutter without the track loader?
Yes. If you have your own skid steer or compact track loader, you can rent the 72-inch Rut Mfg Terminator brush cutter on its own for $275/day, pickup only from our North County yard. If you don't have a machine, we deliver it mounted on our Kubota SVL75-2 for $550/day with free delivery and pickup.
What machine do I need to run the standalone brush cutter?
It fits a standard skid-steer universal quick-attach and needs 17 to 26 GPM of low-flow auxiliary hydraulics, which covers most compact track loaders and skid steers. Bring the host machine when you pick it up, or text a photo of your quick-attach plate and auxiliary couplers to 760-454-7943 and we'll confirm the fit before you book.
What size trees and brush can the cutter handle?
The 72-inch Rut Mfg Terminator cuts woody vegetation up to 4 inches in diameter. It handles chaparral, manzanita, scrub oak, thick grass, and light tree saplings. For trees over 4 inches you'd need to fell them first with a chainsaw.
How much acreage can I clear in a day?
On open, relatively flat terrain you can clear 1 to 2 acres per day depending on vegetation density. Steep slopes and thick brush will slow you down. Most North County homeowners handle their annual CAL FIRE defensible space maintenance in a single day.
What does a 3-day rental cost?
A 3-day rental of the track loader + brush cutter package is $1,650 total ($550/day × 3). Free delivery and pickup is included. A 50% deposit of $825 holds your dates, with the balance due on delivery.
Do I need experience to run the brush cutter?
No experience needed. We walk you through the track loader controls and brush cutter operation at delivery. The main things to know: keep the cutter at a consistent height off the ground, approach brush at an angle, and avoid hard rocks. Most renters are fully comfortable within 30 minutes.
